i made a foreign film

so this was the final for my broadcasting class. it went way away from what we originaly wanted to do because we had 1 day to do it and by 5 most people had to leave. also funny thing my computer died the day i was editing and so i had to edit the whole thing in an like an hour. this is still good. i editted it to make some sense this as good as i possibly could. hope you can enjoy this cause for now on im gonna do a lot more movies

new warriors # 3 review

I like that this issue for trys to shack some things up like how the story is told in the point of view the mad thinker. having a established narrator rather then a omnipresent third person is cool. they also get into the back story of the warriors which this book needed to do.

()the issue is mostly set up for later things and too officially bring them together and with the common mind set and goal of saving people. wish is cool there trying to bring newer readers up to speed and set up a major villain organization.the issue stars out at gentech which if you remember issue 1 are the guys who accidentally released Terrax from their soil decontaminater. they have hired the mad thinker and primus his trusty(pretty funny) android servant to find out what makes the new warriors powers work.

first they find namorita who is at her college being a hotty and about to take a dip in the pool but then the cafeteria food gets her! actually no she just swallowed primus(eww gross).

so mad thinker got what he needed so they tell her to meet them on Friday.then something wonderful happens to speedball that is rare in 90s comics honest character development! his parents are fighting which suck being caught in the middle of so he leaves. also in their fight is a bit of set up for a future plot. speed's mom is going on a environmental trip to Brazil with a group that later turns out to be evil, like everything else that's set up(somethings did surprise me).any way back to the story, mad thinker catches speed and doesn't do much beside tell him to meet him Friday.


oh to make a long story short this happens with every warrior. I'll just tell you what they were doing and skip to conclusion.night thrasher- talking to silhouette get assaulted and get the Friday invite, usual sitch.

nova- gets fired from mcdonalds, refuses to finish high school and quits gym. he also apperantly QUITS THE TEAM!!! wwwwhhhaaa? he must be serious and everybody should worry

firestar- uses powers to make breakfast (that is pretty awesome actually), drives dangerously to school with her friends who like to talk in weird sayings "35s for housewives 50 would be nifty!" seriously find me someone who says this, oh and this

marvel boy- vance's dad read his computer diary (dude should have a password) dads about to hit him for being a mutant, vance defends self (this also happens later but it doesn't end well).

and so finally it Friday and its time for the thinker to introduce himself to the warriors. But wait novas back! I was afraid he was actually gone for good I hope this is never brought up again. What was the point??

so some talking about how the warriors are the way of the future and how they have potential to do great things. At which point night thrasher be-heads him.

WAIT, WHAT!!! Okay don't worry it's just a robot. but still that's brutal. the android couldn't even tell it was a robot how did thrash know?! thats right he didn't but hes just that rad!night thrasher is hardcore!!!

as primus and mad thinker's head leave ( giving the warriors info on gentech) The new warriors contemplate their future. and they have come to an agreement (again) to fight the crime that the other heroes won't touch.


oh this issue compared to the previous issue is lightyears more awesome. the plot was simple nothing too crazy but at least if made sense. I also liked how the the story was told in the mad thinker's perspective ,nice change of pace. The issue try's to give insight into the minds of the characters and actually is able to flesh them out 4 out of 5.

next week get ready cause the warriors are gonna face their titans east,psionex

heroclix: awesome feat card combo

I haven't used feat cards often because I'm a pretty recent heroclix player but now that I have been introduced to older things like bystanders and feats I'm taking full advantage of them.

last game I played was 2000 PTs so I was able to use 200 PTs worth of feats.

Superman , superman set
- fortitude
- shellhead
- damage shield
this was killer for superman who I keeped in the back hypersonicing everyone. not even doctor strange with his all seeing eye could do anything affective.

Vet Deadpool, mutant mayhem
- automatic regeneration
Made an already useful character more useful. in a previous game it saved him from scandal savage when I was healed and able to do blades/claws.

Heroclix : 2000pts is a lot battle report

So it's 1:30 and I just won a 2000 point heroclix game way of forfeit. We started Friday and have just finished on Sunday morning. He had five characters left and was just tired so he game me the victory.

His team had
- black Adam , superman set
- wizard shazam, brave and the bold
- Abin sir, green lantern movie
- Isis, 75th
- Osis, 75th
- dr.strange, secret invasion
- wonder women, superman set
- amazom x3 , brave and the bold
- wonnder women, blackest night
- wonder women, arkham asyhelm
- cloak and dagger, secret invasion
- wiccan,avengers set

he relalized he still had a chance especially because the wizard was at full health but was way too tired and everyone else was hurt.
I'm tired so I'll just talk about so highlights
- killed arkham asylum wonder women my second turn. outwited her defense and hypersoniced with superman. then outwitted again with lex Luther and then running shoot with iron patriot. 8 damage

- found that flashpoint aguaman's geyser power is awesome. Using to get flashpoint wonder women, black conary and psycho pirate into water terrain and do three damage that isn't an attack so no super senses or prob

- I forgot me lex was tapped and attacked cloak and daggers who had mystics so I got 2 un avoidable damage and took lex off hypersonic.

- he rolled snake eyes with black adam twice. leaving him open to outwit where I did 5 with superman.

- I had black Adam tied up with my spider-man from web who has that amazing super sense that has a 50/50 chance of dodging attack. which I did for 4 turns before dieing.

- had 3 perlex with deadpool, sparton, and Johnny quick.

- Johnny quick with 13 movement hypersonic and perplex took out Wiccan and violet lantern wonder women

-at one point he had 3 probability control's

-he always had the wizards all seeing prob

fun game but really tiring. next time I just wanna play 600 pt game. this was interesting and fun but this took way to long.

Ok this is gonna be quick cause I'm in class. Check out this score. I love it on so many levels. mostly cause the odds of getting such a number is insane. you would need to kill the exact number of zombies. Omfg I gave no idea why I can't stop loving this.

For Halloween I made this. It was originally a piece by Pablo Picasso and what I did was replace the face with a skull. I also changed the medium from paint to pastels. Hope u enjoy

been busy lately with school and stuff so i haven't been postinf stuff which includes my doodle things. so here is what i have done.

So yeah I keep forgetting to write. I got a brick of superman and I'll talk about that in the AM. Right now here's the flashpoint big three.

Bad dream

okay I don't wanna be real dance about this so here it goes, bad dream. Okay so I can't remember the beginning but what I remember starts out at what looks like a school. I think it was a combo of my highschool and middle school. In this place are me( that changes a lot) Luke cage, Peter Parker, t' challa and brother voodoo dressed in prison cloths.
Then a hoard of zombies is attacking this school we bashed their heads with shovels and we think its over. Then they reappear stronger and we try are best but it's to much. Luke cage is crying because at the beginning of each wave of zombies his wife is the first zombie. As she comes back she now looks to be drawn by Greg land while we are drawn by Philippe Briones.
Everyone is horrified by this especially Cage. And as he plunges the shovel into her head she says "it won't end so easily"!
This one part was so scary in so many levels 1st it was Greg land zombie art in motion! His fucking books by themselves freaked me out! 2st her face lite up like a Christmas tree unleaching a green aura that super charged the zombies. Now they storm us Peter and luke trampled, As she slowly walks to me. " you are the practioner of the dark art! You try to stop us but your majic is nothing!" she says while pointing directly at me.
I panic and desperately try to escape as she comes closer. I claw through the window and when outside I take one final glance at the front of the school and run.
I then jump onto the top of a concrete wall. Over this wall all sound stops everything before the wall slows down and I start floating. On this side it just looks like a big parking lot but the walls are covered in vines. And as I see things in the other side slow to a crawl I see the vines take a form. It's Hank hill and Dale from king of the hill and they are discussing whether Josph should leave to a prep school. It's basically word for word from an episode I saw a few days ago. As I hear their muffled distorted talk the beginning from the goldfinger song "fuck you and your cat" plays combined with the flaming lips song "it's summertime".
this moment was like the ultimate high as the sun began to set. As it set the sun became the most beautiful multicolored ball of light bathing me light. It was a perfect moment as all the different elements sunk into my soul burying me in a great warm feeling.
I then took flight over a city fliying basically how a dolphin swims. as the conversation moves to a different episode.

Then I woke up. I woke up freaked out and paranoid from the zombie part cause that part was the majority of what I remember. The I wrote this. there was more but all those thoughts are gone now, thanks for listening.

Riding a black unicorn...- CD review

So last month I pre ordered the new CD from Voltaire. And if you don't know who he is he is my favorite goth music icon. He has made some of my favorite songs, short stories and other stuff. if I were to recommend any song I say listen to feathery wings. you can currently find him touring the country and if you do see him tell him hi.

got it a few days ago. And I love this, all song are good but some are better than others. my personal faves are riding a black unicorn down the side of an erupting volcano while drinking from A chalice filled with the laughter of small children, mechanical girl, and dirtiest song that ain't.

As a person who does college radio I appreciate that the songs don't have curse words. but that doesnt have any barring on how good this cd is.its just a little extra thing which i think shows that voltaire doesn't to use swearing as a crutch.

It just seems that a lot of time and effort was put into this. The music has the gothy , dark themes injected with humor and the Voltaire style that is unique to him. And he even changes things up with here. i noticed that this cd has more jazz undertones which is not unapreciated.

It's really hard to describe it but it really is an amazing cd that I would recommend to anyone from a long time fan to new listeners.

bizarro-girl heroclix! LE figure

okay so i wasn't sure if i wanted to go to any heroclix tournaments to get LE ( these are clix that you can basically only get from tournaments or if your in the know with someone). now i know i want to get something. before the only thing i may have wanted to get would be manhunter grandmaster, but thats basically just a trading peice for me(though he is a tough SOB). this is cool obscure one issue character and they did her justice, awesome. i especially like her incape. this set looks amazing, so marvel better step up there game with hulk set.

doodles of the week. week 1

so this is everything that i drew on this first week of school and for the rest of the semester. Its not gonna be anything good just stuff I do in class. Most from my first english class while they were doing the adding and talking bout the book hope u stay for more.

school started so did my procrastination

so this week has been the start of the fall for my school and i have been busier then i thought i would be. its not to much the classes but more i underestimated how tired i would be after school. so i blame that for my lack of updates, though i was still writing stuff its not done but it will be soon like the next new warrior review and i also wanted to post something i call "first week doodles!" so basically i'm just saying to any one reading prepare for new content for the site very soon.

new warrior #2 review

this next issue is actually boring to me, the first one barley kept my attention even though it was just a basic team book. the problem was that they writing wasn't engaging i wasn't able to care about the characters. with could have worked in the 60's but they needed to catch up and give these characters some good backstories. this one actually is where we learn about night thrashers past.
the book starts with three cops getting killed by midnight fire. that's the guys name not what did the killing. this guy who has the ability to have a horrible name is the villain. while the team are training they get news of the dead cops who had a note on them that said "thrashed by the night", i wonder who they are trying to lore out.

we see Dwayne fighting crime a few months ago i guess he felt suspenders would protect him from the bullets flying at him. apparently the crime he helped stop was actually a double cross that midnights fire had been in the middle of stopping from the inside. god dammit he has a stupid name! and if they don't call him that they call him fire which is still stupid!

anyway, night thrasher, midnights fire and silhouette decide to fight crime together, this is the last time i mention their names! i swear. as night thrasher puts it they "thrashed"the gang operations.during this he was doing fire's sister sil.

apparently as they were trying to get a in with a new gang a cop spots them.


but seriously look at that they were begging to get caught, its the middle of the day and they are out in the open with assault rifles! there's even people all around them!
the consequence of their stupidity is that sil gets shoot up real bad and the gang guy and the cop dies. but in the eyes of midnights fire this is all night thrashers fault of course this reference makes sense cause they were on the streets when they were fighting!

then they go to china Town to fight fire's gang. then the story becomes a bad Saturday morning cartoon where the hero has to face his arch villain. thrash fights fire at first is losing but get the upper hand,but before he can kill him but then silhouette appears alive but not so well.


then the plot becomes stupid. because it comes to light that fire killed the cops so that no body would notice his warehouse stocked with huge illegal highly dangerous tech weapons.

okay now think about this he killed three cops so no one would come after him! that's like the opposite of what you are supposed to do! those he seriously think that no one would notice dead cops? even the start of the issue they make there plans clear kill cops and then use the weapons to "obscure my involvement". how does that work! i thought he wanted to keep these guns secret.so to keep them secret he has to start using them! the very noticeable and impossible to miss munition.

oh but it gets better fire's gang then threaten to fire their weapons into the crowd of people, yes the people they are apparently paid to protect and with the weapons that they were willing to kill to keep secret.

Sil dis owns her brother and the warriors are left to wonder whether thrash would have killed fire if he wasn't talked down or not

so that was issue 2 and was it any better? no....no it fucking wasn't.
this plot is so bad i can't think anything else to say. the villian is bad, the the story is bad the hero is so bland that he could been replaced with any 90's anti hero, and the art felt rushed for some reason(the drug bust looked like day time!)
i hate giving any comic a low score but i have to 1 out of 5. you can easily skip this issue and you wouldn't have to worry about missing anything.
